I come from Finland and have studied International Economics in Helsinki (MBA) as my first profession. I have experience working in business, consulting and as an embassy staff member. Additionally, I studied Adult Education at the pedagogical Faculty of the University of Helsinki and have worked as mentor and as an expat consultant. For many years, I have lived and worked in Austria, Poland and Russia before I moved to Germany with my husband.
I attended the Paracelsus School in Frankfurt am Main, where I earned my degree as a certified non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy according to the German HPG law. Additionally, I am a certified Psychological Counselor (VFP).
My name is Cynthia Kunze and I am a registered psychologist in Australia with over 15 years experience in psychological services, including private practice and treatment facilities for children, adolescents and adults. I also have extensive experience teaching psychology at universities in both the United States and Australia and have presented international papers at conferences all over the world. Currently, I work with clients at the private practice in Munich, Germany, as well as online.
My name is Alexandra Heuer and I am a Professional Clinical Counselor Intern, registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences in California, USA (License # 2203). I was born in New York, USA and brought up in Starnberg, close to Munich, Germany. I consider both countries my home and have lived on and off throughout my personal and professional life in Bavaria as well as California and New York. I provide therapy sessions in both English and German for children (age 1.5 and up), adolescents and adults. I specialize in the treatment of early childhood emotional, behavioral and social struggles for children, as well as eating, exercise and body image issues in adolescents and adults.
